You know, aside from the fact that I can't use Myspace on the ship, this place has really replaced myspace for me. Most of my friends on myspace never really talk/email me and those that do don't have anything interesting to say. This place, however, I actually find myself wanting to come here daily (most of the time a hell of a lot more than once) and actually find myself WAITING for people to post something or add a picture or update a blog and when they do, its kinda cool.

So here I am, stuck in Japan on Christmas...and probably on duty that day too, when low and behold...my parents decide to finally leave Indiana and come to visit me. So that's a bonus. Last night I definatly contributed to the local Okinawian economy. Who the hell sells a beer for $6 anyway?? I had entirely too man $6 beers, $7 Jack and Cokes and $7 somethings that looked and smelled sort of like a rum and coke.
